Solsberry Farmers Market
Our purpose is to bring visitors to our community and to provide area residents, farmers, artisans, craftspeople, and businesses with an opportunity to showcase and sell their locally grown or produced goods.

- Every Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm
(Vendors may not setup prior to 7:00am and spaces must be cleared by 1:00pm on Market day) - Solsberry United Methodist Church Parking Lot, Wilkerson Road, Solsberry (see map)

- ***SPECIAL NOTE:
On the lastEvery Saturdayof each month, we will open additional vendor spaces for community flea market / yard sale use.***
- Application, Space, and Fees
- All Vendors must complete an application form. There is no fee for this form.
Applications are due on the Thursday prior to your first intended Market day. (One application per Market season) - Vendors must agree to all policies listed in the Farmers Market Policies document and on the application.
- Spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are 10 feet wide by 16 feet deep.
Double spaces and half spaces are available. - FEES: The weekly rental structure for spaces is: NO FEES FOR 2010!
- Chamber Members: $10/week
- Non-Members: $15/week
- Flea Market/Yard Sale: $15/week
- Double spaces and half spaces are pro-rated accordingly
- All space rental fees must be paid no later than 9:00am on Market day.
- Nonprofit groups and organizations should contact the Chamber office in advance
Committee
The Solsberry Farmers Market is under the supervision of a committee of the Eastern Greene Chamber of Commerce.
Please contact the Chamber office if you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to volunteer to be a committee member.
Legal Information & Disclaimer
Participation in the Solsberry Farmers Market is voluntary.
By completing the signed application, vendors agree to comply with all policies
of the Farmers Market and are subject to the jurisdiction and oversight of the
responsible committee. Further, the vendor agrees he/she will not institute
any action or suit at law or in equity against the Chamber or Chamber's agents
or employees as a result of operations under this Agreement. The Solsberry
United Methodist Church will not be held liable for accidents, damages, or any
other matter occurring as a result of participation in the Market. The Vendor
will not aid in the institution or prosecution of any claim for damages, costs,
loss of services, expenses, or compensation for or on account of any damages,
loss or injury to person or property as a result of operation under this
Agreement. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION: The Vendor is solely responsible
for damages resulting from the sale of unsafe or unsound goods. Vendor is solely
responsible for damages or personal injury resulting from the use of umbrellas
and other weather protection devices. The Vendor hereby agrees to indemnify,
hold harmless, release, waive and forever discharge the Eastern Greene Chamber
of Commerce Inc. and the Solsberry United Methodist Church, its employees,
volunteers, agents and officers, and the members of the Farmers' Market
Committee, for all bodily and personal injuries, including injuries resulting in
death, and property damage, claims actions, damages, liabilities and expenses,
including reasonable attorneys' fees and court costs, which may occur as a
result of Vendor's participation in the Market, whether or not sounding in tort
or contract, and whether or not caused by a negligent act or omission of the
Eastern Greene Chamber of Commerce Inc. and the Solsberry United Methodist
Church, its employees, volunteers, agents or officers, or Farmers' Market
Committee.
